We are seeking a Director of Litigation Support for our Dallas or New York office to manage a heavy litigation docket and oversee the complete range of a litigation life cycle with proven experience in Litigation, Broad Discovery and Workflow Management.
The Director of Litigation Support is a key contributor to the success of our initiatives. This individual will bring experience prior trial Hot Seat experience with related knowledge to support the team’s work and implementation.
Responsibilities
-Develop strategies and implement best practices through the entire EDRM lifecycle.
-Manage all initial activities related to organization of cases and related documents, workflows, preservation, data collection and transfers, tracking and recording and day to day case team activities.
-Provide continuous oversight of infrastructure and lead implementation of recommendations for improvement.
-Collaborate within the internal team and with external vendors to ensure advanced analytics and efficient processes are in place.
-Serve as lead person between teams and coordinate all activities to meet goals. Provide oversight for gathering and preparing all documents relevant to exhibits, witnesses, handling exhibits during deposition and summarizing information.
-Hold responsibility for working with attorneys and Partners with preparation and filing of all court documents.
-Be responsible for leading front to end documentation collection processes.
-Organize documents and data, conduct fact investigations, assist with witness interviews, and ensure appropriate handling of electronic discovery materials and compliance with legal discovery obligations.
-Partner with eDiscovery team overseeing the support provided to the firm.
Qualifications
-10 years of litigation experience, including extensive prior trial Hot Seat experience.
-Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and independently.
-Excellent communication, organizational, computer and documentation skills.
-Strong aptitude required in MS Office. Discovery and trial presentation software expertise is essential.
-Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.
-Excellent organizational and written communication skills, including high level of attention to detail and active listening skills.
-Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively handle multiple projects and competing priorities.
